From the most minimal spaces to elaborate or even decadent boudoirs, almost everyone can appreciate a room that pulls at the heartstrings. Designers throughout this section have captured said feeling with passion. From an outdoors soaking tub to a heartthrob red lounge, these rooms lure you in, romance you with memories or shock you with desire for intimacy, privacy or playfulness. Mood lighting, sumptuous textures, free-spirited whimsy — whatever our senses are stirred by, these spaces have it all.

TREEHOUSE TRYST
This magical house among the trees in Coconut Grove designed by Max Strang Architecture pairs down romance to a single thought: “nature reborn.” Simplicity defines this space as a tub is juxtapositioned on an open terrace with an unobstructed yet private view of nature — a scene that’s all about love.

RETRO RED
You can just imagine James Bond and his latest conquest sipping vodka martinis at this private members club in Miami. Designed by Jacqulyn Yde to be intimate and romantic, the subtle twinkling of lights injects a sparkle into the space, while a rich, passionate red palette overwhelms the senses, leaving us craving for more.
